Two years later, Purr’n Pooch opens in Tinton Falls.

Dick Palazzo, a veterinarian student from the University of

Florida, who is a graduate of both the Stanton School of

Grooming and the Volhard Dog Training Academy, becomes

the general manager of both facilities. He adds grooming,

training, and transportation services, and becomes a charter

member of the American Boarding Kennels Association.
