Our Clients Say it Best...
"I definitely give this place a 5+star rating. I have been bringing me dogs there for about 20yrs. First my cocker spaniel, then my bulldog Daisy and now my bulldog Priscilla. They all love it. Priscilla is excited when I tell her she's going there and doesn't want to come home once she gets there. She just has the best time there. The staff is wonderful. Everybody is so nice and I don't feel bad when we go away on vacation. I know that my baby is in the best place possible and that they will take care of her as if she was one of their own. I highly recommend it! I can't say enough about it." - Donna Aliff
“I'm writing to you just to let you know how wonderful your staff has been to my deaf dog Lola! I've used Purr'n Pooch in the past when my dog (who has since passed away) developed severe separation anxiety. So you can imagine when I decided to use you again for Lola to provide her with socialization opportunities, it was ME with the anxiety! The minute I walked in the first time, your kind and compassionate staff greeted Lola with delight which immediately eradicated all of my worries. Furthermore, they were eager to learn the signs we use with her to make communication as easy as possible. They continue to give Lola that little extra attention that my 'special' girl needs and she loves spending the day there! Thank you!”

“The staff at Purr’n Pooch has been essential in improving our pet’s mental and physical well-being. We know that when we take Loki to daycare he is in a loving, nurturing environment where he is well looked after. It really is his second home.” - The Freeman’s
“For Gretchen, then Phaddy and Windy, and now with Fuzzy and Lilly, Purr’n Pooch has been a home away from home over the past 25 years. Their tails always start wagging as soon as they jump out of the car and it’s hard to get them back into the car for the ride home. This is as much a product of the personal attention Dick Palazzo gives to every dog and cat, as it is time and effort he has put into providing a state-of-the-art facility. Most importantly, Dick clearly loves his work boarding and training animals, which is why those tails keep wagging and why we keep coming back. We cannot recommend this facility highly enough when you cannot be with your pets.”

"I don't even know where to start to thank all of you for the wonderful care you've always given Boomer and Lucy and for saving Lucy's life. If you hadn't been so alert and seen Lucy's bloat, she would have died. If you hadn't acted so quickly and gotten her to RBVH, she would have died. The day of the surgery, Dr. Salmeri told me there was only a 5% chance that Lucy would survive and if she did, it would be because she had been brought so so fast. So, thank you for being so good at what you do and thank you for caring so much for all the Boomers and Lucys who stay at PNP." - With tremendous gratitude, Nancy Barnett, Lucy and Boomer
"For all of you who took such special care and gave that extra love to our wonderful Coco and Cleo, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was an extremely hard and painful decision not to take Coco and Cleo with us when we moved to Florida four years ago. We were told that bold dogs did not have all that much time left, especially Cleo, who was given 6 months at the most back in August, 1995, due to her severe medical condition. Because we knew they would be well taken care of and treated like family, Purr'n Pooch would be the next best thing to "home". As it turned out, your place became home to them far longer than any of us expected. I truly believe their longevity resulted from all the love, nurturing, and attention they received. While we are saddened by the recent passing of Cleo, she brought so much joy to our lives for so many years (and certainly Coco, too), we take comfort knowing how well cared for she was. We couldn't have done it better ourselves. Again, thank you Dick, and a warm thank you to all of you at Purr'n Pooch who went above and beyond for our dogs. Your heartfelt generosity will never be forgotten."

“Ten years ago, we relocated to Wall, NJ from the Philadelphia Main Line area. We were recommended to Purr’n Pooch for the boarding of our rottweiler, Nugget. For nine years, our Nugget received the finest care in boarding, grooming, and daycare from a highly qualified and caring staff. Our 10-month-old labrador retriever, Mackenzie, is now enjoying the very same personal attention offered at Purr’n Pooch. When we travel for weeks at a time, we know our Nugget and Mackenzie are superbly cared for each day. More importantly, when Nugget and Mackenzie arrive at Purr’n Pooch, they literally rush to the door to be greeted by the loving staff to again enjoy their home away from home.”

"There are no words to express how moved we were to receive the beautiful bouquet of flowers sent in Logan's memory. It truly reinforced why I've brought Logan to all of you for your "True Love" of animals. It is clear that every animal that walks through your doors is special and treated as one of your own. Thank you again for taking such exceptional care of Logan...He love the special time he spent with you. It meant the world to us that you took such special care of him." - The Carleo Family
"On behalf of Chris and I, I want to thank you for all of the time and care that you gave to Leo. As you know, Leo was a special part of our family and no one could have been kinder to him or more considerate of Leo than you and your staff. It was always amazing to me how much Leo loved going to Purr'n Pooch. You are a very special person and you certainly made Leo feel like a very special dog while he was with you. There was also no doubt in our minds that leo lived as long as he did because of the special care he got from you and your staff. It's not often that a Newfoundland can live 12 years and live so well."

"I can't begin to tell you how touched we are by the thoughtful tribute of beautiful flowers that you sent to us in memory of our cherished Katie. Not only today, but throughout the years, you have shown Katie and Curtis tons of love and patience. It has always been a comfort to us to know that we are leaving them with not only capable, but loving hands. The kindness and compassion shown by you and your wonderful staff during Katie's illness and then in her passing has meant the world to us and will not be forgotten."

“We’ve been taking our dogs to Purr’n Pooch for over 15 years, and in that time we have found their level of care and service to be peerless. When we have had to board for days, say over a vacation, the staff and owners have given daily reports on our dogs’ health and well-being over the phone, at any hour of both night and day. Also, you won’t find a more solicitous and caring staff, all of whom seem to show a level of joy and enthusiasm unmatched anywhere. We just wish our beloved dogs could run with equal passion to our own front door, as they do when we approach the doors of Purr’n Pooch with each visit.”

"As you know, our family dog "Bliss" needed emergency surgery while we were on vacation. After our experience, with our family dog I though you would be interested in knowing of the care our dog received while we were away and could not be reached. The quick action by the staff of PNP in noticing the difference between a dog not eating because she missed home and not eating because she was ill surely helped in saving here life. Mr. Palazzo, the owner of PNP, personally oversaw Bliss' care through recover. He transferred our dog to our Vet who in turn asked him to transfer her to Garden State Veterinary for emergency surgery. Mr. Palazzo was unable to reach our contact person so he telephoned my office who in turn reached one of my children. He telephoned my office as frequently as possible to advise of her condition as well as speaking to my children. He also went to Garden State Veterinary to hand feed our dog during recovery as she was not eating. I feel that he has gone above and beyond the call to make sure my dog had the best possible care during our absence. PNP has been boarding our family dog since 1994, as well as, Seeing Eye puppies that our family has raised.
We felt that you would like to know that while your puppies are boarded at PNP they will receive the best care possible. We will always be grateful for their quick and positive action in saving our family pet." - The Dimperio Family, Seeing Eye Puppy Raisers
